Abstract

F MXene causes interlayer charge transfer accompanied by strong signatures of localized surface plasmon resonances (LSPRs) in the visible region of the electromagnetic spectrum. Our theoretical findings demonstrate a promising strategy to generate LSPRs in MXene-based heterostructures.
