Abstract
bubbles on the surface to facilitate efficient mass diffusion. Density functional theory calculations reveal that the formation of the nickel-cobalt alloy can effectively lower water dissociation energy barriers and optimize hydrogen adsorption Gibbs free energy, manifesting a high HER activity.
