Abstract

Abstract Herein, poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) functionalized gold nanoparticles/graphene (AuNPs/Gr) composites were prepared by the one‐pot method under simple, rapid and mild conditions. The prepared nanocomposites combined the excellent conductivity and electrocatalytic performance of Gr and AuNPs. Based on the above advantages, an outstanding electrochemical sensor was constructed to detect sunset yellow (SY) and tartrazine (TZ) simultaneously. Under the optimum conditions, the linear response ranges for SY and TZ were 0.006–5.0 and 0.008–3.0 μmol/L, with low detection limits of 2.0 and 2.5 nmol/L, respectively. The as‐proposed sensor displayed long‐term stability, anti‐interference performance and reproducibility, revealing its promising method for practical monitoring.
