Abstract
Abstract Under the guidance of molecular hybridization, a series of compounds containing neonicotinoid and amidine fragments were designed and synthesized. The biological activities were evaluated against Plutella xylostella and Aphis gossypii . Most of these compounds showed good activities with Aphis gossypii at the concentration of 500 μg/ml. The Structure–activity relationship analysis showed length and size of the alkyl group on the 1,2,4‐triazole skeleton have a significant impact on the insecticidal activity.
